Design. Built between 1904 – 1907 as the Royal Army Medical Corps Headquarters Mess and College, top military relaxed in style in the rooms you now hire. A century earlier, convicts laboured here: London’s largest
prison was on this site! And today? Number 45 Millbank promises you an unforgettable events experience – in the best of formal classic with an eclectic modern twist.

WITH STYLISH OUTDOOR SPACE at a premium in this area of central London, Number 45 Millbank will offer a designer cour tyard garden in which to meet.
Facing Tate Britain, the Henry Moore Cour tyard is an exclusive, intimate landscaped cube leading from Atterbury Street. Its architectural planting and paving, with neat railings, will provide a modish exterior space for guests to greet and be greeted. It will also prove a stunning location for photography.
The focal point is to be the acclaimed sculpture by Sir Henry Moore, Two Piece Reclining Figure No.1, owned by Chelsea College of Art and Design. From the southeast facing garden, visitors enter Number 45 Millbank through the Pavilion Entrance.

The Ornamental Garden at 45 Millbank
Enclosed in the walls of the Grade II-listed building, the Ornamental Garden offers a secluded and intimate setting for summer events. The garden takes up to 100 guests for alfresco entertaining and an ideal setting for summer drinks receptions, BBQs & relaxing coffee breaks. Adjacent to the garden, the opulent Banqueting Hall and Red Rooms with spectacular views across the Thames, offer a warm and dry option if the weather turns. With just a stone’s throw from Tate Britain, makes it a must for seriously stylish summer events.

Henry Moore Courtyard
The sculpture recently returned to the Chelsea College grounds from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park where it is now on display in a prominent, public facing courtyard opposite TATE Britain. Directly linked with Number 45 Millbank, it offers an alternative entrance into the building and after redevelopment will provide a magical setting for drinks receptions.

Billed as the gallery without walls the massive 3,500 square metres Parade Ground is located at the heart of Chelsea College of Art and Design. The unique space has the flexibility to stage the work of artists and designers from a massive range of subject disciplines, spanning everything from product launches, open air parties, sculpture to design and audio and architecture installations.
