Located just 1 minute walk from Elephant and Castle Underground (Northern & Bakerloo lines) and Overground Station (linking with Blackfriars). The Coronet Theatre is a unique 1920’s art deco building still featuring many of its original features. With the ability to cater for 50 to 2600 guests over 5 refurbished spaces.
The Coronet can be hired in its entirety or in a number of different combinations to meet varying capacity requirements.
The venue consists of a main Auditorium, (stage: D= 6.8m X W=11.3 at 1.10m high) a seated balcony, 3 additional rooms of varying size, 3 toilet blocks and a huge smoking area that is covered from the elements! As well as all of this there are 4 purpose built bars, 3 cloakrooms, 4 changing rooms, shower & wi‐fi facilities and excellent stage load‐in facilites.
The Coronet’s main Auditorium features a state of the art Lighting Rig, with an array of moving heads (spots and washes), source 4’s, Strobes, UV Cannons, Mole Fays, LED Batons and Par 64 cans, spread over 3 motorised trusses, supplied by GLS. While the sound system consists of a huge flown d&b J SERIES Line Array controlled by a Yamaha M7CL digital desk, ‘arguably the highest spec digital system in london’. (supplied by Encore) And dont forget the main stage has 10.5m of space above for ariel performances with load tested rigging points!
