Venue Description:

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel has a fascinating history and has hosted many distinguished guests since it opened as London’s first ever hotel in 1837 and to this day this glamorous, five-star establishment welcomes guests ‘in-the-know’. It is from here that Alexander Graham Bell made the first ever telephone call; President Roosevelt stayed on his honeymoon and both Agatha Christie and Rudyard Kipling were so inspired that they penned novels whilst staying here.

Having completed a £24-million renovation in December 2005, Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels, has managed to create a contemporary look, while retaining the traditional elegance for which Brown’s is famous. Fresh colours and natural materials blend perfectly with original wood panelling, mosaic floors, gilt mirrors, chandeliers and antique furnishings. Brown’s is now home to 117 elegant rooms and suites that also provide an ideal setting for intimate gatherings, outstanding restaurant, a buzzing bar and relaxing spa.

Exceptional service, a dedicated events team and outstanding food make Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel the perfect location for all private meeting and dining requirements. Each event is tailor-made to the host’s specific requirements with special attention being given to the small details that make a difference. Nothing is too much trouble at Brown’s and should guests wish to have a string quartet or a themed canapé reception, then it can be arranged.

Days the whole venue can be booked for exclusive hire, what are the costs and min spends for each day?

Private dining and conferences

Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel provides the perfect venue for any private occasion, from top-end business meetings to civil ceremonies and weddings to an intimate dinner for 10. Each of the six private meeting rooms has not only an exciting history, but also boasts an abundance of natural daylight, high ceilings and fabulous antiques, whilst still encompassing state-of-the-art technology.

Brown’s offers a wide range of special packages, such as a Daily Delegate Package of just £85 per person, which includes room hire, a working lunch, a bottle of mineral water per person, two coffee and tea breaks, a flip chart and VAT.
